Headquartered in Manila, Philippines, Isis Metals is a reliable provider of high-quality specialty metals engineered for intricate industrial use. Of its higher-end products, the Hastelloy Hex Bar is notable for its superior corrosion resistance, mechanical properties, and temperature resistance. A nickel-based metal alloy, this product is carefully engineered into hexagonal bars with a versatile and durable option for producing fasteners, structural parts, and machined components for applications in hostile environments. Recognizing the importance of reliability and performance, Isis Metals is committed to providing Hastelloy Hex Bars that provide exceptional functionality even in the most corrosive and high-temperature applications.
Hastelloy Hex Bars are nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys consisting mainly of Nickel (50–70%), Molybdenum (14–22%), and Chromium (14–22%), with minor levels of Iron, Tungsten, and Cobalt to increase their strength and corrosion resistance. The alloy exhibits excellent pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking resistance in harsh environments. Hastelloy is mechanically robust with high tensile strength (approximately 690 MPa), superior ductility, and excellent stability at temperatures up to 870°C. These characteristics make Hastelloy Hex Bars well-suited for high-stress, high-stress applications where strength and dimensional integrity over an extended period are required.
