Inconel Hex Bars are nickel-chromium-based high-performance alloys consisting mainly of 72% Nickel, 14–17% Chromium, and 2–3% Molybdenum, with trace amounts of Iron, Titanium, and other elements. Their composition yields excellent resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and heat-caused degradation. Mechanically, Inconel Hex Bars have a very high tensile strength of about 1030 MPa and show superior creep resistance at high temperatures. Physically, they possess excellent dimensional stability and scaling and thermal fatigue resistance, which is suited for high-stress applications that require long-term durability and performance under extreme thermal and chemical conditions.
