Hastelloy Round Bars are a nickel-molybdenum alloy with chromium and iron additions, which provides excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. They possess good mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength, superior ductility, and remarkable creep resistance. These bars can resist temperatures up to 870°C (1600°F) and have a yield strength of about 310 MPa and tensile strength of more than 690 MPa. They provide excellent resistance against pitting, crevice corrosion, and oxidation, so it is quite favorable for applications involving chemical processing, marine, and aerospace.
