Duplex Steel Hex Bars have a two-phase microstructure, comprising approximately equal amounts of austenite and ferrite, with higher strength and corrosion resistance than typical stainless steels. The alloy contains 22–25% Chromium, 5–7% Nickel, 3–3.5% Molybdenum, and trace amounts of Nitrogen. This composition provides high tensile and yield strength, high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, and good weldability. The hexagonal design improves the application of torque and mechanical performance and is thus ideal for fasteners, shafts, and structural parts for harsh environments.
