Stainless Steel 317L Flat Bars are made up of chromium (18–20%), nickel (11–15%), molybdenum (3–4%), and carbon (≤0.03%), along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and phosphorus. The higher molybdenum content enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in environments with chlorides. These bars have a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%, ensuring they are tough and easy to work with.
