The company, through vast industry experience, provides a broad spectrum of metal solutions serving the varied demands of industries like the automotive, aerospace, and engineering sectors. Of its high-end products, High-Speed Steel (HSS) M35 Bars are the best in hardness, strength, and resistance to wear. These bars are designed for precision and high-performance applications that require strength consistency in unfavorable conditions. Isis Metals is committed to supplying efficient, high-performance materials that guarantee exceptional results and durable value in each endeavor.
High-Speed Steel Bars M35 are cobalt-based alloys made up of around 1.35% Carbon, 5% Cobalt, 6% Molybdenum, 4% Tungsten, 4% Chromium, and around 1.35% Vanadium, with minute amounts of Manganese. Such a balanced mix offers excellent hardness and wear resistance, so M35 is best suited for high-temperature and high-stress applications. The bars have a Rockwell hardness of around 67 HRC and a tensile strength of around 2500 MPa. They possess outstanding heat resistance, toughness, and durability—properties that make them ideal for cutting, tooling, and other demanding mechanical applications needing precision and longevity.

Yes, High-Speed Steel M35 can be welded, but it requires careful control of heat and preheating. Post-weld heat treatment is often necessary to restore its hardness and performance.
Yes, High-Speed Steel M35 bars can be customized in terms of dimensions, shape, and surface finish. Machining and heat treatment processes can also be tailored to meet specific performance requirements.
High-Speed Steel M35 bars should be stored in a dry, cool environment, away from moisture and extreme temperatures. They should be kept on racks to prevent contact with corrosive materials.
HSS M35 Bars are extensively used in all industries for cutting and machining tool manufacturing that requires ultimate hardness and thermal resistance. They are used abundantly in the manufacturing of drill bits, milling cutters, reamers, taps, and inserts, providing excellent red-hardness which ensures tool sharpness even at high temperatures and speeds. Their strength and wear resistance render them extremely appropriate for heavy industrial machinery as well as precision engineering. Further, M35 bars have significant uses in aerospace, automotive, and metalworking industries where precision, efficiency, and durability are crucial. Their capability to resist deflection and sustain cutting effectiveness provides extended life for the tool and greater productivity.
