Inconel Bars and Rods are nickel-chromium superalloys with a composition of about 50–70% Nickel, 14–22% Chromium, and 2–3% Molybdenum, along with minor amounts of Iron (8–10%), Cobalt, Aluminum, and Titanium. This makes them resistant to corrosion and oxidation even at high temperatures. The alloy is quite strong with a tensile strength of about 1,200 MPa and a yield strength of about 550 MPa at room temperature. Interestingly, Inconel retains its strength and structural integrity up to 1,100°C, providing superior creep resistance and ensuring consistent performance in the most severe thermal and mechanical conditions.
