Isis Metals’ Stainless Steel 303 Bars and Rods are carefully designed with accurate chemical composition for improved performance and machinability. The alloy has 0.15% carbon, 2.00% manganese, 1.00% silicon, 0.20% phosphorus, 17.00–19.00% chromium, 8.00–10.00% nickel, and 0.15% sulfur with iron being the remainder. In its mechanical properties, it has a tensile strength of 500–700 MPa, yield strength of at least 205 MPa, and elongation of 35% in 50 mm with a hardness of up to 80 HRB. Its well-balanced composition provides superior machinability, strength, and corrosion resistance in harsh industrial conditions.
