Stainless Steel 317L Bars and Rods are low-carbon alloys that offer superior resistance to corrosion and oxidation. Their chemical content consists of 18–20% chromium, 11–15% nickel, 3–4% molybdenum, up to 2% manganese, up to 1% silicon, and not more than 0.03% carbon, with the balance being iron. These bars and rods have excellent mechanical properties of approximately 515 MPa tensile strength, 205 MPa yield strength, and 35% elongation. Combined, these make them suitable for high-performance industrial and marine applications.
